
Biography
Byron Rogers studied
photography, philosophy and sculpture at Sam Houston State University
in Texas. He studied photography at the SHSU Mexican Field School during the summer
of 1972 in Puebla, Mexico. Studied with Paul Caponigro at the Ansel
Adams Gallery Workshops in Yosemite in the winter of 1975.
He has works in the Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth; Incarnate Word
Generalate,
San Antonio and many private collections. He has taught
photography for over 10 years at the University of Texas Informal
Classes in Austin, Angelo State University
Extended Studies in San Angelo and Howard College in Big Spring.
He has taught stone sculpture for 5 years at the University of Texas Informal Classes in Austin.
Byron’s international travels have taken him to Mexico, Canada, Japan and Ireland.
Byron's United States travels have taken him to 25 states.
