15. Question: Do you accept bulk or distributor orders?

Answer: We deal mainly in high quality photographic prints both vintage and current made in small qualities and limited editions. Therefore we do not have bulk pricing because we usually only have a small quality and many times only one to sell. Because of this we do not offer wholesale pricing. We do have Specials.

You can also make an offer on any item we have for sell. Use the email form here. Just let us know what you are interested in and then make an offer. The best we will do is take your offer and the worst we will do is decline your offer. Most of the time we do not take less and for sure not until after the item has been on the site for at least 90 days.

20. Question: Do you accept and fulfill international orders?

Answer: We will ship outside the USA, but we will not take credit card payment or PayPal on international orders. Buyer is responsible for all tariffs and duties and must pay international shipping charges.

We will ship to your country but because of custom laws we can not guarantee that you will get the print. Also some times insurance may not work. Therefore we let you know the bad news up front. We do not ship until the money order has cleared our bank which can take two weeks or more after we get your funds. We will let you know the date of shipping and the tracking number on the package by email. We require a money order in USA dollars before we will ship to you. Once we receive an order we hold the print for 5 to 10 days to get the funds here at our office. We can give more time if needed, let us know.

We will let you know the total cost of shipping and insurance. There is no cost to let you know the shipping if you will send us your shipping address. We will email you the cost as fast as possible. Sorry for the trouble with international orders but we have had some problems and this is the only way we can help you get your item and make sure we get our money. We will be glad to work with you just let us know what you want to do.

26. Question:  What is a good book on photography or photograph collecting?

Answer: Click here: Recommended Reading On Photography

Change the placement or location of your framed photograph once or twice a year because this gives the image a new lease on life for you to experience. The main thing is to enjoy your photograph. Keep direct sun from falling on the print. The best illumination is indirect sunlight or incandescent light. Protecting prints from humidity and direct light will increase their longevity.

31. Question:  What type of prints do you produce and sell?

Answer: Vintage prints are ones that have been made in the past close to the time the original photograph was made. Most vintage prints are optically enlarged B&W prints printed on fiber based double weight paper, archivally processed, mounted and single matted for framing. Vintage color prints can vary from original Cibachrome pints, Type C, Type R, Polaroid SX-70* prints. Current color and black-and-white prints are made using the high quality HP Designjet Z3100 44-inch Photo Printer onto select papers. The prints made using the HP Designjet Z3100 Photo Printer resist fading for more than 200 years** with HP Vivera pigment inks and the 12-ink printing system on a range of HP and HP Hahnemuhle papers. The prints have very archival qualities and are exquisite. On single images, a custom arrangement can sometimes be offered, just ask.

The vintage Black and White photographs where hand printed by me, archivally processed and mounted on museum quality mat board. I no longer have a darkroom so I will not be making any prints this way in the foreseeable future.

* Internal dye diffusion transfer process or SX-70 prints

** Display permanence rating by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. on range of HP creative and specialty media.

You might be able to find appraise resources on these two web sites www.photography-guide.com or the Association of International Photography Art Dealers at www.aipad.com.

33. Question: What is a ''giclée'' print?

Answer: A ''giclée'' print comes from the French word ''giclée'' which literally means a spurt of ink. A DFA & P printer has many nozzles to mix and spray the ink onto the paper/canvas surface. This expression is used to describe a high quality Digital Fine Art & Photo printing process.
