As you may know Polaroid filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last year, and on April 17, 2009 the Federal Bankruptcy court for the district of Minnesota approved the purchase of “Polaroid, including the Polaroid brand, intellectual property, inventory and other assets,” by Hilco Consumer Capital and Gordon Brothers Brands. The two companies will most likely develop the Polaroid brand which should be great news for all Polaroid lovers.
