FotoFest Houston – March 12 – April 25, 2010

by editor on April 20, 2009

In Houston, Texas since 1983.
I have only been once and it was great and a lot of fun. It is worth the trip.

Registration for the FOTOFEST2010 International Meeting Place Portfolio Review begins Monday, June 1, 2009. That is only 41 days away! Hurry! FotoFest gives space to registrants based on a lottery system.

FotoFest’s purpose is to promote the exchange of art and ideas through international programs and the presentation of photographic art. Our programs work globally and locally, bringing together an international vision of art and cross-cultural exchange with a commitment to community involvement and the enrichment of Houston’s cultural resources.

FotoFest’s own exhibitions for the FOTOFEST2010 Biennial focus on contemporary work by U.S. photographers and will be curated by invited curators.

The International Meeting Place Portfolio Review for Artists

FotoFest invites all museums, commercial galleries, non-profit spaces, artist-run spaces, corporate spaces, and retail establishments to participate in the FOTOFEST Biennial as a Participating Space. Participating Spaces are spaces that choose to exhibit photographic art as part of the FOTOFEST Biennial – the oldest and longest-running international photographic event in the United States.
